Job details:
Technical Support Executive (Remote)About NamiNami is building the operating system for hotels.
Most hotel software today is fragmented — bookings live in one place, payments in another, guest communication somewhere else. The result is chaos for operators and a broken experience for guests.
We’re fixing that.
Nami is an AI-first Property Management System that unifies the entire hotel stack — from bookings and payments to OTA integrations and guest interactions.
Our goal is simple:
Make hotel operations feel effortless.
Why This Role ExistsIn hospitality, problems don’t come as tickets — they come as moments of stress.
A guest is waiting.
A booking isn’t visible.
A payment didn’t go through.
At that moment, the hotel doesn’t need “support.”
They need clarity, speed, and confidence.
This role exists to be that bridge.
You won’t just resolve issues.
You will translate confusion into structure, and systems into solutions.
What You’ll Actually Do- Be the first point of contact for hotel partners (WhatsApp, calls, email)
- Break down unclear problems into structured, solvable components
- Debug issues using tools like:
- Postman
- Browser DevTools (Network, Inspect)
- API responses (JSON/XML)
- Identify the real source of issues:
- User error
- Configuration gaps
- System bugs
- Escalate effectively with:
- Clear reproduction steps
- Logs and context
- Expected vs actual behavior
- Follow through until resolution — not just response
What This Role Is (and Is Not)This is not:
- A script-based support role
- A ticket forwarding job
- A passive “reply and close” system
This is:
- Real-time problem solving
- Systems thinking applied to real-world operations
- A training ground for Product, QA, and Technical roles
What You Need to Be Good At1. Thinking Clearly Under Pressure
When someone says “system is not working,” you don’t react — you deconstruct.
2. Structured Debugging
You think in flows:
Booking → API → PMS → Channel → Response
3. Communication
You can explain technical issues to a hotel manager without using technical jargon.
4. Ownership
You don’t stop at “I’ve escalated.”
You stay until it’s solved.
Technical ExpectationsYou don’t need to code.
But you should be comfortable with:
- APIs and how they work
- HTTP methods: GET, POST, PATCH, DELETE
- Reading JSON / XML
- Using Postman
- Basic understanding of frontend ↔ backend ↔ database flow
- Browser DevTools (especially Network tab)
Bonus (Good to Have)- Experience with hotels / PMS / channel managers
- Understanding of booking lifecycle (booking → check-in → check-out)
- OTA knowledge (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.)
- Rate plans, room types, and mapping logic
Work Details- Remote (but not asynchronous)
- 6 days a week
- Availability required: 10 AM – 8 PM
This is a real-time role.
Hotels operate live — so do we.
Compensation₹20,000/month
(This role is optimized for learning, exposure, and growth — not short-term compensation.)
Growth PathIf you’re good, this role compounds fast.
You can move into:
- Product
- QA / Testing
- Integrations / API roles
- Customer Success leadership
Who Should ApplyThis role is for someone who:
- Likes figuring things out
- Is curious about how systems work
- Wants to move into tech/product without starting as a coder
- Can stay calm when others are not
How to ApplySend:
- Your resume
- A short note covering:
- Any experience with APIs / Postman / debugging
- Any exposure to hospitality (if any)
- Why this role makes sense for you
