Role Overview
We are looking for a Tech Support Executive to provide frontline technical assistance to customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-first mindset. While the primary focus is technical support, good-to-have DevOps knowledge will be an added advantage, enabling smoother deployments and operational efficiency in managed services.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide timely support to customers via email, chat, and calls.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issues.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new users.
Internal IT Support
- Support Gowitek employees with day-to-day IT needs (systems, accounts, devices).
- Manage user access, endpoint security, and compliance with IT policies.
- Ensure smooth functioning of collaboration tools and internal infrastructure.
Good-to-Have: DevOps Knowledge
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
- Ability to assist in deployments and application maintenance in customer infrastructure.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in technical support or IT support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments and networking basics.
- Bonus: Exposure to DevOps practices, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
