Objective of the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Support Engineer who is passionate about solving technical issues and improving customer experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot issues, validate APIs, track bugs, and ensure smooth platform operations. This role requires strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to products and services.
- Own customer issues reported in the JIRA IT ticketing tool and drive them through to resolution.
- Identify, log, track, and coordinate bug fixes using tools like JIRA/ClickUp.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Validate API responses using Postman and other debugging tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and SaaS platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Assist in preparing training materials for internal teams and clients.
- Analyze recurring issues and suggest process or product improvements.
- Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders regarding issue resolution.
- Maintain strong attention to detail while handling multiple technical issues simultaneously.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in Technical Support, Application Support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of APIs and hands-on experience with Postman.
- Basic knowledge of database queries (SQL preferred).
- Familiarity with JIRA, ClickUp, or other ticketing/bug tracking tools.
- Understanding of cloud-based applications and SaaS platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- High level of ownership and accountability.
- Passion for helping users succeed with technology.
- Ability to work in rotational/night shifts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with engineering or product teams.
- Exposure to troubleshooting web applications and backend systems.
- Ability to create process documentation and user guides.
- Curiosity to learn new technologies and improve existing systems.
