Designation: Technical Support Engineer - Printer
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting Cisco AMP, Zscaler, Sophos, Palo Alto Firewall, SentinelOne, Office 365, Aspen, KBC Petrosim, and Entrust VPN.
- Handling overall IT management processes, including remote support, hardware support, VoIP, basic networking, vendor management, asset management, printer management, and team management.
- Providing global IT remote support through WebEx and TeamViewer.
- Installing, maintaining, and configuring Symantec Antivirus software on client systems and servers.
- Installing updates, patches, and bug fixes for business applications.
- Assisting in all IT support functions, including regular monitoring and maintenance of systems, system health checks, patch management, OS hardening, and remote user support.
- Managing Windows system administration with expertise in Windows XP and Windows 7.
- Identifying technical issues and resolving problems via phone, email, and electronic communication tools using automated diagnostic programs.
- Troubleshooting issues related to Windows 7/XP, Outlook, laptops, internet connectivity, wireless/Bluetooth devices, and data cards.
- Configuring BlackBerry email services.
- Handling escalation management and maintaining knowledge of Windows systems and network security concepts.
- Installing and configuring VPNs, MS Outlook, SAP clients, and operating systems for smooth business operations.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network printers, local printers, and scanners.
- Installing and troubleshooting Office Communicator, Symantec Antivirus, and BlackBerry software.
- Resolving customer complaints related to performance bottlenecks.
- Providing value-added customer service by addressing customer queries and issues promptly.
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction through timely resolution of problems.
Additional Requirements
- Should be able to handle Epson, Laser, Barcode, Dot Matrix, Multifunction, and All-in-One printers.
- Hands-on experience with HP and Epson printers is required.
