Key Skills:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop-related issues, including operating system errors, application problems, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and other end-user devices.
- Set up and maintain user accounts, email, and other IT-related services.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and patches.
- Support the deployment and setup of new hardware and software systems.
- Ensure that all systems are running up-to-date antivirus and security software.
- Manage and maintain asset inventory (hardware and software).
- Assist with network troubleshooting, ensuring network connectivity issues are resolved efficiently.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT policies and procedures.
- Document all support activities and incidents in the helpdesk system, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-ups.
- Collaborate with senior support engineers and other IT staff to address complex technical issues.
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of desktop hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux).
- Understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business applications.
- Familiarity with remote desktop software and helpdesk tools is an advantage.
