Technical Support Engineer (PACS, L1/L2 Hybrid)
Role Objective:
- Provide technical troubleshooting and first-level analysis for PACS, DICOM, and HL7-related issues.
Mandatory Skills:
- Basic understanding of PACS workflow
Fundamental knowledge of:
- DICOM (study flow basics)
- HL7 (order and report flow basics)
Troubleshooting Ability:
- Ability to investigate:
- Study not visible in PACS
- Image loading delays
- Report delivery issues
Should be able to:
- Check logs
- Identify whether issue is DICOM / HL7 / network related
Systems & Tools:
Comfortable with:
- Log files (reading, basic analysis)
- Basic Linux/Windows commands
Exposure to:
- Any PACS system
- Integration tools (nice to have)
Workflow Understanding:
- Understanding of Order → Study → Report lifecycle
- Ability to coordinate with Ops team and PACS Admin for escalation
Problem-Solving:
- Analytical mindset (not just ticket logging)
- Ability to isolate root cause before escalation.
Experience:
- 1-3 years in Healthcare IT / PACS / Radiology support
- Strong freshers with DICOM/HL7 fundamentals can be considered
- Strong communication skills (internal coordination with tech + ops teams)
- Willingness to work in US-aligned shifts
- Understanding of data security and compliance (HIPAA awareness preferred.
- Six Days of Working ,Rotational & Night Shifts (Its US Process Health Industry 24*7 Availability)
