Qualification & Experience
- MEO Class III / Class IV or NCV Part A
- Minimum 5 years of sailing experience
- Around 1 year of shore-based technical experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee technical operations of MBC type vessels
- Manage vessel repairs, maintenance, workshops, and stores
- Ensure all statutory and trading certificates remain valid and updated
- Coordinate with manning agencies for safe and efficient vessel operations
- Liaise with Indian Register of Shipping and Directorate General of Shipping for statutory surveys and compliance
- Monitor vessel readiness and support smooth day-to-day technical functioning
