Technical Services Manager – Food Applications (Dairy & Beverage)

About the Role
We are hiring a highly technical and hands-on professional for a leadership role in Food Applications focused on Dairy & Beverage solutions. The role is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in formulation, application development, ingredient functionality, and lab-based product innovation.
This is a techno-commercial role with a strong emphasis on practical application work:
- 70% – Lab work, formulation, trials, application development
- 30% – Customer interaction, technical presentations, solution discussions
The ideal candidate should enjoy working in application labs, solving formulation challenges, conducting trials, and developing innovative customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead formulation and application development activities for Dairy & Beverage categories
- Work on ingredient solutions including texture, sweetness, stabilization, fortification, and functionality
- Conduct lab trials, pilot trials, testing, troubleshooting, and prototype development
- Collaborate with commercial and customer teams to deliver technical solutions
- Present technical concepts, findings, and application recommendations to customers
- Support technical problem-solving and provide application guidance
- Stay updated with industry trends, ingredient technologies, and market developments
Preferred Profile
- Background in Food Science / Food Technology or related discipline
- Strong experience in Technical Services, R&D, or Application Development
- Expertise in Dairy and/or Beverage applications
- Hands-on experience in formulation labs and product development environments
- Strong understanding of food ingredients and functional systems
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in lab and plant environments
