Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Technical SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing, reviewing, and implementing changes to websites to improve their technical SEO performance and visibility on search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Optimize website structure, internal linking, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability.
• Monitor and resolve crawl errors, broken links, and sitemap issues using Google Search Console and other SEO tools.
• Collaborate with developers to implement SEO best practices.
• Implement structured data (schema markup) for enhanced search listings.
• Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reports on SEO performance.
• Ensure proper indexing and canonicalization strategies are in place.
• Monitor site health and security from an SEO perspective (HTTPS, redirects, etc.).
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Technical SEO or similar role.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how search engines interpret them.
• Proficiency in tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, GTmetrix, and similar.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4).
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.
• Familiarity with server-side issues and CDN configuration (e.g., Cloudflare).
Preferred Skills:
• Basic understanding of website development and UX principles.
• Experience with international SEO and multi-language sites.
• Knowledge of log file analysis and performance monitoring tools.
