Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist – Media Servers & Video Processing (Green Hippo / tvONE)
Location: India
Region: Global (Extensive travel across India, Middle East & Africa, Asia, and Europe)
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and versatile Technical Sales Specialist to support and grow our presence across the Green Hippo media server range and selected tvONE video processing solutions.
This is a hybrid, customer-facing role combining technical training, product support, sales engagement, and specialist expertise. You will act as a trusted advisor to partners, customers, and internal teams, helping drive product adoption and delivering exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Training & Enablement
- Deliver engaging product training sessions (in-person and virtual) for Green Hippo media servers and tvONE solutions
- Develop training materials and documentation tailored to different audiences
- Support partners and end-users in best-practice deployment
- Technical Support
- Provide high-quality pre-sales and post-sales technical support
- Troubleshoot product issues and liaise with engineering teams where required
- Assist customers with system design and integration
- Sales Support
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to drive revenue growth
- Support product demonstrations, roadshows, and trade events
- Identify opportunities and contribute to pipeline development
- Product Specialist
- Become a subject matter expert on Green Hippo servers and tvONE video processing products
- Provide technical insight into customer applications and industry trends
- Feed market feedback back into product and strategy teams
Key Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of:
- Media servers, video processing, or live event/AV technologies, highly desirable
- Proven ability in a customer-facing technical or sales role
- Excellent communication skills:
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential
- Confident presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly organised, diligent, and self-motivated
- Willingness to travel extensively across:
- India
- Middle East & Africa
- Asia
- Europe
