Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Engineer with a strong engineering background to promote and sell industrial products and solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between technical capabilities and customer requirements, ensuring effective solutioning and successful deal closures.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial and commercial sectors
- Promote and sell mechanical products, equipment, and engineering solutions
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients
- Generate enquiries, prepare quotations, and drive order closures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, logistics) for smooth execution
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and client meetings
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Job Specifications
Educational Qualification
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Chemical Engineering candidates may also apply)
Experience
- 1–5 years in technical sales / industrial sales
Preferred Industry Exposure
- Chemical Industry
- Petrochemical Industry
- Oil & Gas
- Power Plants
- Fertilizer Plants
Skills Required
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial products
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong sales acumen and customer handling skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
