About the Role - The Technical Sales Manager drives revenue growth by identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, and positioning the company’s electronics product development capabilities with clients. This role blends technical understanding with commercial acumen, making it ideal for someone who can translate engineering strengths into compelling business value.



Responsibilities -



Market & Opportunity Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Compute systems, Networking Gear, Telecom, IoT, industrial automation, consumer electronics, automotive, avionics electronics, and related sectors.
  • Map target accounts, decision makers, and buying centers (R&D, Product Engineering, Procurement, CTO orgs).


Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with OEMs.
  • Understand client product roadmaps and propose relevant engineering solutions.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and technical-commercial discussions.


Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management

  • Develop and execute sales plans aligned with revenue targets.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline; track leads, proposals, and closures.
  • Prepare proposals, SOWs, capability decks, and pricing models in collaboration with engineering teams.


Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, R&D, program management, and delivery teams to scope requirements and craft winning solutions.


Commercial Skills

  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and deal closures.


Account Growth & Customer Success

  • Drive up-sell and cross‑sell opportunities across product lifecycle services (concept → design → prototyping → validation → manufacturing).
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure smooth project handover to delivery teams.


Required Skills


Qualifications -


  • Education: Bachelors Degree (Ideally B.E./B. Tech in ECE/EEE/Instrumentation/Computer Engineering or related fields of study)
  • MBA in Marketing/Strategy (preferred but not mandatory).


Business Skills

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in B2B sales, solution selling, or consultative selling.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex engineering deals.
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets
  • Familiarity in selling products/services to government customers


Technical & Domain Understanding

  • Familiarity with electronics product development processes
  • Understanding of Testing & certification
  • Understanding of data center products and their requirements


Preferred Skills -


  • Minimum 8 years in business development, sales, or account management in:
  • Electronics design services
  • Embedded/IoT engineering
  • Product development companies
  • EMS/ODM.
  • Hardware design
  • Embedded firmware & system software
  • Contacts with data center clients & companies
