About the role
We are hiring a Technical Sales Manager to drive pre‑sales for SDR-based drone data links, secure communications, GPS/GNSS and electronic warfare solutions for Indian defence and aerospace customers. You will work closely with MoD, DRDO, PSUs and private OEMs to translate complex mission needs into practical, high‑value SDR solutions.
What you will do
- Own pre‑sales for SDR-based UAV data links, tactical radios and secure IP/MANET communication solutions.
- Engage with MoD, DRDO labs, defence PSUs and private system integrators to capture requirements and shape solution architecture.
- Analyse RFPs/RFIs/tenders, prepare technical proposals, BoMs, and compliance matrices for SDR, GPS and EW systems.
- Run technical presentations, demos, PoCs and trials with user units for UAV links, anti‑jam GPS and EW-enabled communications.
- Work with engineering on waveforms, encryption, networking and platform integration (UAVs, ground stations, C2 systems).
- Track defence communication and EW programs, build a strong opportunity pipeline, and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
What you bring
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace or similar.
- 5+ years in technical sales / pre‑sales in defence communications, SDR, RF or EW in India.
- Solid understanding of SDR architectures and waveforms, UAV/drone datalinks (LOS/BVLOS), GPS/GNSS and anti‑jam/anti‑spoof techniques, and core EW concepts (jamming, spoofing, SIGINT/ELINT).
- Hands-on experience with Indian defence procurement (DAP, tenders, TECs, trials).[4][2]
- Strong communication, customer-facing and proposal-writing skills; comfortable presenting to senior uniformed and technical stakeholders.
Must have
- Prior work with MoD, MHA, and major defence OEMs
- Exposure to mesh/MANET radios, IP networking over SDR and integration with C2/GIS/sensor systems.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC, MIL‑STD and defence qualification / certification workflows.
