Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to drive business development and client acquisition for our product development and formulation services. The ideal candidate will identify potential clients in the food, nutraceutical, and health industries, build relationships, and convert leads into long-term business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the food, nutraceutical, and health product sectors
- Pitch Food Maverik Labs' formulation, R&D, and product development services to potential clients
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, brand owners, and manufacturers
- Convert inbound and outbound leads into paying clients
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product discussions
- Coordinate with the R&D and technical team to understand client requirements
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and update CRM/sales tracking systems
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Business, or related field
- 0 - 1 years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition
- Experience in food, nutraceutical, FMCG, or ingredient industry is preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to business clients
- Self-driven with strong target orientation
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of food product development and formulation
- Experience working with food brands or nutraceutical companies
- Understanding of ingredient sourcing and manufacturing ecosystem
- Familiarity with startup ecosystem or D2C brands
