Role Description : (5-6 LPA)
This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Executive role based in Sanand.
The Technical Sales Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities for radiation shielding materials and solutions, while managing and expanding relationships with existing customers in sectors such as nuclear, medical, aerospace, and defense.
Daily activities include understanding client technical requirements, preparing and delivering product presentations, coordinating samples and technical documentation, and providing pre- and post-sales support in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
The role involves generating and following up on quotations, negotiating commercial terms within company guidelines, and maintaining accurate sales pipelines and reports.
The Technical Sales Executive will also gather market intelligence, participate in industry events, and contribute to sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Qualifications
- Strong technical understanding of materials, polymers, or engineering products, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Proven sales or business development experience, preferably in industrial, engineering, or radiation-related products, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and deal closing.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
- Solid organizational and analytical skills, including pipeline management, basic data analysis, and structured reporting of sales activities.
- Comfort working on-site in a manufacturing and R&D environment, with a collaborative approach to working alongside technical, production, and quality teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, materials science, or a related technical or scientific discipline; a business or MBA qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in nuclear, medical radiology, aerospace, defense, or other high-technology sectors is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
