Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Executive role based in Delhi, India.
• Execute strategic territory and sales plans, actively managing a robust pipeline and maintain accurate opportunity tracking within CRM systems to support forecasting and consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets
• Own commercial performance for a defined portfolio of laboratory products, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and market penetration
• Serve as the technical sales expert for assigned product lines (e.g., advanced materials, chemicals, lab equipment, instrumentation), aligning solutions to customer applications
• Drive consultative, solution-based sales, positioning as a preferred partner for both standard and customized solutions
• Develop and expand key customer relationships, engaging decision-makers to identify opportunities, negotiate agreements, and grow share of wallet
• Proactively manage inbound and outbound sales opportunities, converting qualified leads into revenue through structured follow-up and closing strategies
• Deliver high-impact technical presentations, product demonstrations, and application-driven discussions to accelerate customer decision-making
• Provide pre-sales technical support and commercial guidance, ensuring alignment between customer needs and product capabilities to drive conversion and retention
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to align go-to-market strategy and execution
• Act as the voice of the customer, capturing market insights, competitive intelligence, and unmet needs to inform product development and commercial strategy
Preferred candidate profile
• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field required; equivalent industry experience with a proven track record of sales success in scientific markets may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years of experience in technical sales, applications, or customer-facing roles within scientific markets
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing a pipeline within life sciences, advanced materials, semiconductor, energy, or industrial R&D markets
• Strong understanding of laboratory products, workflows, and customer applications
• Proven ability to translate technical expertise into commercial value through consultative selling
• Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
• Strong organizational and territory management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of operating effectively in a field-based or hybrid sales environment
