Designation - Technical Sales Executive/ Assistant Manager
Job Description
Reporting to Vice President (Sales Marketing)
Job Purpose
To manage techno-commercial sales, customer support, and technical activities for SAERTEX, with a strong focus on windmill blade production, customer acquisition, market development, and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Techno-Commercial Customer Support
- Provide techno-commercial, customer service and support across all hierarchy levels.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers at the operational level.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure effective technical resolution.
Technical Responsibilities
- Responsible for all technical activities including trials, qualifications, audits, and promotions.
- Provide technical support related to windmill blade production using glass and carbon materials.
- Coordinate technical discussions with customers, production, and supply chain teams, including global teams.
Sales Business Development
- Achieve assigned yearly sales targets.
- Acquire new customers and develop new market segments.
- Negotiate quotations, contracts, and commercial agreements with customers and partners.
- Monitor and analyze regional market players, including raw material suppliers and competitors.
Coordination Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day coordination with operations, logistics, production, and supply chain teams.
- Responsible for timely payment collection from customers.
- Supervisory coordination of all sales and technical-related activities.
SAP Reporting
- Responsible for end-to-end SAP activities related to sales and techno-commercial parameters.
- Generate SAP documents, reports, and data as per business requirements.
- Coordinate SAP-related cross-functional activities involving customers, production, and supply chain teams.
Compliance Representation
- Understand and comply with business guidelines, legal requirements, and regulatory implications.
- Represent SAERTEX at exhibitions, congresses, trade fairs, and other industry events in India.
Work Experience Skills
- Experience: 35 years
- Industry Requirement: Mandatory experience in windmill blade production or quality.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of windmill blade manufacturing using glass and carbon materials.
- Skills:
- Strong techno-commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- SAP proficiency (Sales and cross-functional modules preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects
