At Global Tech, we supply and support marine electronics, navigation systems, satellite communication, and offshore solutions to vessel operators, ship managers, and offshore clients across India. We work with leading OEMs and have active presence across major maritime hubs.
We're looking for a Technical Sales Executive — someone who understands marine electronics well enough to consult, and communicates well enough to close.
What You'll Do
- Develop new business across shipping companies, shipyards, and offshore operators in India
- Field visits to ports, shipyards, and client offices are a core part of this role, not occasional
- Regular meetings with ship owners, ship managers, fleet operators, and procurement teams are expected from day one
- Provide technical guidance on navigation and communication systems (ECDIS, AIS, GMDSS, VHF/MF/HF, satellite comms)
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders and follow through to closure
- Manage key accounts and ensure repeat business through strong relationships
- Coordinate with internal service and technical teams for smooth order execution
- Track your pipeline, report regularly, and stay on top of market activity
What We're Looking For
- 2 to 4 years of experience in marine electronics, maritime sales, or a technical service role in the industry
- Working knowledge of navigation and communication equipment. Sea-time or shore-based service both considered
- Strong communicator, equally comfortable with a ship's engineer and a procurement manager
- Self-driven, field-ready, and able to manage your own accounts independently
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marine, Electronics, B.E, B.Tech, BSC IT, or related field
- Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane
