Designation: Technical Sales Engineer – Bandsaw
Location: Chennai (field travel within Chennai and surrounding industrial areas)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a result-oriented Technical Sales Engineer to grow our customer base and drive sales of bandsaw machines, blades, and cutting solutions in the metal cutting and industrial tooling segment. Preference will be a candidate with prior experience in cutting tools/metal cutting and a strong understanding of bandsaw applications in machine shops and fabrication units.
Key Responsibilties:
- Promote and sell Bandsaw machines/Circular Saw Machines, Bandsaw blades,Circular Saw Cutters,Drills,Taps,Endmills and related cutting solutions to industrial customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the metal cutting segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Understand customer components, materials, and processes and recommend suitable machines, Cutting solutions, and cutting parameters.
- Manage Large Key Accounts and Handle Payment Collection.
- Conduct product demonstrations, cutting trials, and technical presentations at customer sites.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as per business plan.
- Coordinate with internal teams for enquiry handling, quotations, order booking, dispatch, and basic after-sales support.
- Collect and share market information on competitors, pricing, and customer feedback.
- Maintain proper records of enquiries, visits, offers, orders, and collections in the prescribed format/CRM.
Required Qualification And Experience:
- Must be currently residing in Chennai
- Mandatory: Prior experience in cutting tools / metal cutting / bandsaw or related industrial sales.
- Proven experience in technical sales or industrial product sales (Cutting tools, Cutting Applications, Product Knowledge, Capital equipment Sales etc.).
- Strong application knowledge of Bandsaw Blades and similar metal cutting technologies preferred.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil; strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, plan customer visits, and consistently meet sales targets.
- Valid two/four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel locally as required.
