Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Technical Sales Engineer will work closely with industrial clients to understand their processes, identify needs, and propose NeoPascal’s energy-efficient equipment and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations, preparing quotations and proposals, and supporting customers through the evaluation and decision-making process. The role involves collaborating with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate solution design, handling technical inquiries, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support. The Technical Sales Engineer will also track opportunities, maintain CRM records, contribute to sales forecasts, and support business development activities at industry events and customer sites.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills for industrial equipment and engineered solutions.
- Candidates should possess Sales Engineering capabilities, including solution consulting and application engineering.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to address product performance, troubleshooting, and customer queries.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear technical writing and confident client-facing presentations.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) are preferred.
- Experience in process industries (e.g., cement, steel, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, wastewater) and familiarity with rotating equipment or energy-saving technologies is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industrial plants as required.
