Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role located in Kolhapur. The Technical Sales Engineer will engage with customers to understand their electronic appliance needs, recommend suitable solutions, and prepare quotations and proposals. Daily tasks include conducting product demonstrations, explaining technical specifications in clear terms, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation support. The role also involves providing basic technical support, troubleshooting customer issues, and escalating complex problems when necessary. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for meeting sales targets, maintaining accurate records of opportunities and orders, and building strong, long-term customer relationships through regular follow-ups and service-oriented communication.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
- Proficiency in Sales activities, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing opportunities.
- Capability in Technical Support, including basic troubleshooting and coordination with service teams for issue resolution.
- Excellent Communication skills for presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and maintaining professional customer interactions.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field preferred.
- Comfort working on-site in Kolhapur and visiting customer locations as needed.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple customer requirements simultaneously.
- Prior experience in electronic appliances, industrial products, or related technical sales is an advantage.
