Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with industrial clients, understand their automation and networking needs, and recommend suitable solutions from our product range.
This role requires a mix of technical understanding + sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
#Business Development & Sales
· Identify potential clients in manufacturing, automation, machine builders, OEMs, and system integrators.
· Conduct field visits, meetings, and presentations to promote company products.
· Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable automation/networking solutions.
· Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
#Technical Consultation
· Provide product demonstrations and explain features of PLC, VFD, Servo, RFID, Industrial Switches, and other solutions.
· Assist customers with basic technical clarifications and system selection.
· Coordinate with the technical team for pre-sales or after-sales support.
#Quotation & Coordination
· Prepare quotations, proposals, and techno-commercial offers.
· Follow up with clients for deal closure and order finalization.
· Coordinate with the internal team for delivery, project execution, and payments.
· Maintain accurate sales reports and CRM records.
#Customer Relationship Management
· Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
· Collect customer feedback and share market insights with management.
· Attend industrial events, exhibitions, and customer visits when required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Sales and Sales strategies
- Experience in Sales Engineering and demonstrating technical products or services
- Strong Technical Support skills and the ability to troubleshoot customer issues
- Excellent Communication skills, including verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related discipline
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and demonstrations, as needed
