ABOUT COGNESENSE
Cognesense is a worldwide environmental technology company that engineers trusted intelligence from the physical world — built on products customers have trusted for over a century. Backed by L Squared Capital Partners, we are assembling a group of established, heritage instrumentation and controls businesses — including Varec, L&J Technologies, Shand & Jurs, Sonitus Systems, Pyroban, Pyropress, Ex-tech, Petrel, and Ex Solutions — into one integrated global platform that spans the entire technology stack, from physical sensors to AI-driven analytics.
We compete in the $50–60 billion Environmental Measurement, Monitoring & Protection (EMMP) market, growing 5–8% annually and driven by non-discretionary regulatory demand across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water & Wastewater, Chemicals, Energy, and Industrial Automation. Our products are mission-critical: they prevent environmental harm, safeguard public health, and keep regulated industries compliant and operating safely — for customers in over 100 countries, with facilities across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build Cognesense's presence in India. India is one of the fastest-growing markets for the EMMP sector — anchored by major Oil & Gas, Refining, and Process Industries customers such as HPCL, BPCL, IOCL, ONGC, GAIL, and Reliance — and Cognesense is investing in a Bangalore-based team to serve it directly. Joining now means shaping how we go to market in the region: building customer relationships, standing up local technical sales and quality processes, and establishing the playbook that our India operation will run on for years to come. It's the kind of high-visibility, high-ownership role that a mature, fully built-out organization can't offer — you won't be joining an established machine, you'll be helping build one.
Our culture is built on T.R.U.S.T. — Transparency, Respect, Unity, Safety, and Tenacity — values we practice daily as we bring nine (and growing) heritage brands together into one company, without losing what makes each of them trusted in the markets they serve.
