Abacus serves industries including oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and power, where reliable heat transfer equipment is critical to plant operations. Role Description
Technical Sales & Marketing Engineer
Location: Delhi NCR – Based at Corporate Office (majority role involves outdoor work and customer engagement)

Role Objective
To develop and expand the company’s sales pipeline and market presence by generating new business opportunities across industrial sectors and building strong relationships with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and end-user clients.
Key Responsibility Areas Business Development
• Identify and generate new leads across EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and end-users
• Develop opportunities in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, HVAC, and related industries
• Register the company with EPC contractors, government PSUs, and approved vendor lists
• Re-activate dormant clients from the company’s 20+ years of project history Sales Execution
• Follow up on inquiries and coordinate internally for technical and commercial quotations
• Understand client requirements and support preparation of techno-commercial proposals
• Negotiate commercial terms and assist in closing orders
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline and reporting system Marketing & Industry Representation
• Conduct client visits, meetings, and technical discussions
• Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events
• Support digital marketing initiatives, catalogues, and brand positioning
Qualifications (Education)
• Diploma / B.Tech. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred
• MBA / BBA candidates with strong technical orientation may also be considered
Experience
• 0–2 years preferred
• Freshers with strong communication skills and interest in industrial sales are welcome
Skills Required
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office & AutoCAD
• Ability to understand and make GA drawings
• Self-driven and target-oriented mindset
• Willingness for regular client visits and field engagement
Compensation
₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Fixed) & Performance-based sales incentives
