Job Title: Technical Sales - Agro Chemicals
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Technical Sales professional to join our Agro Chemicals division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance crop production and pest management. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge in agrochemicals and strong sales skills to effectively promote our products and services in the agriculture sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and target potential clients within the agriculture industry, including farmers, agronomists, and distributors.
2. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our agrochemical products.
3. Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding product application, usage, and benefits.
4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies.
5. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
6. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars to network and promote our products.
7. Prepare sales reports and forecasts, analyzing performance and strategizing to meet sales targets.
8. Foster long-term relationships with clients through excellent customer service and support.
Skills and Tools Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the agrochemical industry.
3. Strong understanding of agricultural practices and agrochemical products.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
5. Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
6. Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
7. Willingness to travel to various locations for client meetings and industry events.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
