Job Overview
The Technical Recruiter supports the recruitment team by handling the administrative tasks associated with the hiring process. This role involves sourcing resumes via multiple channels. coordinates between candidates, hiring managers, and the HR team, scheduling interviews, posting job openings, and maintaining candidate databases. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for finding the right people to help the company grow.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, other job portals, referrals, etc.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, including video conferences, phone interviews, and in-person meetings, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Post job openings on company websites, job boards, and social media platforms, and manage the responses and applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Assist with screening resumes and applications, forwarding qualified candidates to the respective hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate databases and ensure all hiring records are up-to-date and compliant with legal and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing updates and feedback promptly.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless transition into the company.
- Assist in organising and attending job fairs and recruitment events to promote the company and attract candidates.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the recruitment process, suggesting improvements based on candidate feedback and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with HR team members on various projects, such as employer branding initiatives and employee referral programs.
- Ensure confidentiality is always maintained (GDPR) - including emails, letters, filing, etc. Completing interviews for successful applicants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, B Tech, B.E., BCA, MCA or related field.
- 2 to 3 years' minimum in technical recruitment background ( Hiring for : Full stack/Frontend/Backend/QA) - sourcing/generating quality leads via various platforms like LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Proven experience in a recruitment or administrative role; experience in talent acquisition preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates and team members at all levels.
- Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS), as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proclivity for high-paced quality and quantity hiring
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruitment best practices.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail.
Technical Recruiter
Location: Bangalore, India Working Pattern: Hybrid — two days per week in office at Queens Road, Bangalore Working Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm UK time
About The Role
Scrumconnect Consulting is looking for a driven and tech-savvy Technical Recruiter to join our growing People team. This is an end-to-end recruitment role — you will own the full hiring lifecycle for your assigned roles, from initial sourcing through to offer, working closely with hiring managers and the wider HR team to deliver a fast, high-quality candidate experience.
You will be comfortable using AI tools, automation platforms, and modern recruitment technology to work smarter, reduce time-to-fill, and consistently deliver top technical talent across our digital and technology functions. Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for technical roles including Full Stack, Frontend, Backend, and QA, from briefing through to offer acceptance
- Proactively source high-quality candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, boolean searches, and emerging AI-powered sourcing tools
- Screen CVs and conduct initial interviews, presenting well-qualified shortlists to hiring managers with clear assessment notes
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles, ensuring talent pools are continuously warm
- Leverage AI tools and recruitment automation to improve sourcing efficiency, candidate communications, and pipeline management
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, provide market insight, and set realistic timelines and expectations
- Manage job postings across the company website, job boards, and social media platforms, ensuring consistent and compelling employer brand messaging
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring full compliance with GDPR and company data standards
- Support new hire onboarding by coordinating with relevant teams to ensure a smooth transition for candidates joining the business
- Represent Scrumconnect at virtual and in-person recruitment events and job fairs where appropriate
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes, bringing ideas on how technology, data, and automation can improve our hiring outcomes
- Collaborate with the wider HR team on employer branding, employee referral programmes, and talent strategy initiatives
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering (B.Tech, B.E.), Computer Applications (BCA, MCA), or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in technical recruitment, with a proven track record of hiring across Full Stack, Frontend, Backend, and/or QA disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end recruitment independently, with minimal supervision
- Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn, niche job portals, and other platforms, with experience generating quality candidate pipelines
- Comfortable using and adopting AI tools, automation platforms, and ATS systems to drive efficiency — experience with tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, HackerRank, or similar is advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously without compromising quality
- A proactive, ownership mindset — you take responsibility for your roles and don't wait to be chased
- Working knowledge of employment law and recruitment best practices, including GDPR compliance in a recruitment context
- Comfortable working UK business hours from Bangalore
