The Role
We are looking for a Technical Recruiter based in Chandigarh, India to join our team and take ownership of sourcing qualified candidates for IT roles within the Indian market. You will work closely with account managers and client partners to understand technical requirements, build strong candidate pipelines from across India, and move quickly to fill open positions.
This is a high-energy, high-autonomy role ideal for someone who thrives in a startup setting, has deep knowledge of the Indian IT talent landscape, and knows the staffing industry inside and out.
What You'll Do
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates based in India for IT positions across multiple technology stacks and skill sets
- Leverage Indian job boards and sourcing tools — especially Naukri, LinkedIn, and other India-focused platforms — to build and maintain a robust talent pipeline
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial outreach through offer and onboarding coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams and external staffing partners to align on client requirements and submission timelines
- Track and manage candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (Ceipal)
- Stay current on the Indian IT job market, in-demand skills, salary trends, and regional talent availability
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly submission and placement targets
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of hands-on IT recruiting experience sourcing candidates in India, with a strong track record of placements
- Staffing agency experience required — you understand the pace, the metrics, and the client expectations that come with agency recruiting
- Proficiency with ATS platforms, especially Ceipal
- Strong experience using Naukri for resume sourcing, database searches, and candidate outreach
- Solid understanding of IT roles, technologies, and hiring terminology (e.g., full stack development, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, cybersecurity, ERP systems)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a corp-to-corp (C2C) staffing model
- Familiarity with additional Indian job portals
- Experience sourcing for both domestic Indian clients and international clients with India-based delivery teams
- Prior experience recruiting in a startup or early-stage company
