About the Role:
SSDB Tech Services is looking for a highly experienced Technical Project Manager who can lead development teams while staying hands-on with technology. The role requires strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to work directly with US-based clients to drive project delivery, manage expectations, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of software development projects for US clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communication, requirement discussions, and project updates.
- Lead and mentor the development team while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct technical reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions with the team.
- Remain hands-on with coding when required, particularly in .NET technologies.
- Coordinate between clients, developers, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Plan project timelines, allocate tasks, and track progress.
- Identify technical risks and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Drive best practices in Agile development and software delivery.
- Support team members with technical guidance and troubleshooting.
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs).
- Solid understanding of Frontend and Backend development.
- Experience with modern frontend technologies (JavaScript frameworks preferred).
- Good knowledge of database management (SQL Server or equivalent).
- Experience in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- PMP certification preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in software development and project management.
- Strong client communication skills, particularly with US stakeholders.
- Ability to manage distributed teams and handle multiple projects.
