Role Description The Technical Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for planning, executing, and delivering fintech projects within scope, time, and budget. This role involves managing end-to-end project lifecycles, defining technical and business requirements, coordinating with engineering, product, and operations teams, and aligning project plans with strategic goals. The Technical Project Manager will oversee daily stand-ups, track progress, mitigate risks, and remove obstacles to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes. The role also includes stakeholder communication, reporting on project status, managing external vendors or partners when required, and driving process improvements and best practices in project and program management. The Technical Project Manager will contribute to technical solution discussions, support implementation and rollout activities, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards relevant to fintech.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Management and Program Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Team Leadership and Communication skills to guide cross-functional teams and maintain clear, timely updates to stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess project performance, and support informed decision-making.
- Experience managing technical or fintech projects, preferably in payments, financial analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with agile or hybrid project management methodologies and common collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Confluence, or equivalents).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, prioritize multiple initiatives, and adapt to changing business and technical requirements.
- Open to Travel to Pan-India for client meets, project requirements, presentations or seminars.
- Understanding of information security, regulatory considerations, and compliance in the fintech domain
