About The Company
System One is a leading workforce solutions and professional services company dedicated to connecting talented professionals with innovative organizations across various industries. With a strong focus on technology, engineering, and compliance sectors, System One has built a reputation for delivering tailored staffing solutions, project management expertise, and consulting services that drive business success. Our commitment to excellence, integrity, and client satisfaction positions us as a trusted partner for both job seekers and organizations seeking to achieve operational excellence and compliance standards.
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team at System One. In this role, you will be embedded directly within our Risk & Compliance Developer team, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of critical compliance platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate complex projects involving compliance certification, policy management, audit tracking, and business intelligence reporting systems. You will act as a strategic partner, ensuring that cross-functional teams—including Risk, Audit, IT, and Engineering—collaborate effectively to meet project milestones and deliver high-quality solutions.
This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of technical project management methodologies, and the ability to translate technical complexities into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels. Your efforts will directly impact the organization’s ability to maintain compliance standards, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making processes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience managing technical projects or programs from inception to completion. You should have a proven track record of navigating complex delivery environments, handling multiple workstreams simultaneously, and adapting project management frameworks to suit team needs. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and hybrid delivery models is essential, along with hands-on experience working with analytics or business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or similar tools.
Additionally, you should demonstrate excellent communication skills—confident, clear, and tailored to your audience—as well as a reputation for maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and team members. A background in compliance-related systems, GRC platforms, or policy management tools will be advantageous. Certifications such as PMP or CSM are preferred but not mandatory if your experience sufficiently demonstrates your capabilities.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include driving the end-to-end delivery of compliance and analytics platforms, ensuring projects progress smoothly from backlog to production. You will facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and cross-team synchronization to foster an efficient delivery rhythm. Managing RAID logs, project plans, and status reports will be crucial in providing stakeholders with accurate, actionable insights rather than superficial updates.
You will also be responsible for mapping and managing dependencies across various teams, including IT, Risk, Audit, and Application Development, to prevent issues from falling through the cracks. Translating technical details into clear executive updates, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies, will be essential for informed decision-making. Additionally, you will coordinate release schedules, change management activities, and post-implementation reviews to ensure continuous improvement and compliance adherence.
Benefits
System One offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being. Employees enjoy competitive compensation, health insurance plans, retirement savings options, and paid time off. We promote a collaborative work environment with opportunities for ongoing training, certifications, and career advancement. Our flexible work arrangements and commitment to diversity and inclusion ensure a supportive and inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive. Additionally, you will have access to resources and tools necessary to succeed in your role and contribute meaningfully to our organizational goals.
