About KGK Infotech LLP
KGK Diamonds is a 120+ year global leader in natural diamonds with mines-to-market vertical integration. We serve elite B2B clients including Cartier, Titan, Rolex, Gucci, Bulgari, and Van Cleef and Arpels across 15 global offices and 7 manufacturing plants. With 50,000+ inventory items and operations spanning India, Dubai, Hong Kong, Antwerp, and NYC, we combine heritage craftsmanship with data-driven digital transformation.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to own delivery, people management, and stakeholder relationships for our Manufacturing (MFG) engineering vertical. Manufacturing is one of the most complex and business-critical functions at KGK, spanning multiple modules that power diamond production, costing, traceability, and client operations across global plants. You will lead the MFG engineering team end-to-end, drive sprint execution across all manufacturing modules, manage stakeholders across plant operations and vertical heads, and co-own people management for the Commercial vertical. You bring a strong software engineering foundation that lets you engage credibly on technical decisions, assess feasibility, and represent the team accurately to business leadership. Your output is a manufacturing technology function that ships consistently, performs reliably, and earns the trust of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Delivery and Project Execution
- Own end-to-end project lifecycle management across all Manufacturing modules including Manufacturing Planning, Rough Commercials, Costing, Traceability, Flutter Applications, NIVID Technical Support, and related systems
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; maintain consistent delivery velocity across all MFG workstreams
- Define, track, and report project KPIs including sprint velocity, on-time delivery rate, defect escape rate, and cycle time; initiate data-driven course corrections proactively
- Manage cross-module dependencies, delivery risks, and resource conflicts; maintain a living risk register and escalate blockers with resolution plans
- Own resource allocation and capacity planning across concurrent MFG workstreams to maximise team throughput and delivery predictability
- Ensure SDLC adherence and process standardisation across all Manufacturing modules; drive continuous improvement in engineering practices
IT Infrastructure Ownership
- Manage and streamline physical application and database servers across global manufacturing locations, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability
- Own database cleanup, backup processes, and regular infrastructure health monitoring for all MFG systems; proactively identify and escalate issues
- Maintain and manage network memberships, firewall configurations, external website services, and third-party service provider relationships relevant to the MFG vertical
- Coordinate with senior leadership for new server procurement, software licensing approvals, and infrastructure investment decisions for the Manufacturing function
People Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and manage the Manufacturing engineering team, including goal-setting, performance management, career development, and day-to-day team operations
- Co-own people management for the Commercial vertical in partnership with the Technology Lead, covering performance reviews, development plans, and team health monitoring
- Conduct structured one-on-ones, quarterly performance reviews, and development discussions; manage PIPs and people decisions in coordination with HR
- Drive talent acquisition for the Manufacturing vertical by partnering with HR on role definition, structured interviews, and candidate evaluation
- Build a high-performance team culture rooted in ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Identify skill gaps across the MFG team, build individual development plans, and create succession pipelines for critical engineering roles
- Monitor engagement, morale, and retention signals across the team; act decisively on early indicators before they escalate
Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for all Manufacturing business stakeholders including plant operations leads, vertical heads, and global manufacturing teams
- Translate complex manufacturing business requirements and operational needs into structured engineering priorities, delivery roadmaps, and resource plans
- Deliver clear, data-backed project status reports, delivery dashboards, and executive summaries to the Head of Engineering and senior leadership
- Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication of scope changes, delivery risks, and trade-off decisions
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment between MFG engineering, plant operations, business, and product teams
Technical Engagement and AI Enablement
- Participate in technical roadmap planning, architecture reviews, and feasibility assessments to ensure delivery-grounded decisions across all MFG modules
- Apply technical acumen to evaluate engineering estimates, identify complexity, and validate commitments before they are communicated to stakeholders
- Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools including Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot across the Manufacturing team; track and report productivity impact
- Champion integration of Generative AI and automation into SDLC workflows to improve team throughput and code quality
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate project documentation including delivery plans, sprint reports, risk logs, and change management records across all MFG modules
- Own engineering dashboards and status reporting cadences; provide regular structured updates to leadership on delivery health and team performance
