Technical Project Manager
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Project Manager who can take full ownership of web-based projects and act as the main point of contact for clients. This role requires strong communication skills, confidence on client calls, and a solid technical understanding of web platforms. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects end to end, from planning to final delivery
- Lead and participate in client calls, meetings, and status updates
- Understand client requirements and translate them into clear tasks
- Coordinate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders
- Track timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables
- Identify issues early and resolve them proactively
- Ensure quality checks are completed before project delivery
- Provide clear and regular updates to clients and internal teams
Must-Have Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable):
The candidate must have a working, practical understanding of the following areas:
Technical & Platform Knowledge:
Domains & DNS
- Strong understanding of how domains work
- Hands-on experience managing DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT)
- Comfortable with domain pointing, DNS changes, and propagation issues
Web Hosting
- Good understanding of hosting environments (shared, VPS, managed hosting)
- Ability to identify hosting-related issues and coordinate fixes
- Experience working with hosting providers and support teams
cPanel
- Confident using cPanel for routine website management
- Managing files, databases, email accounts, backups, and SSL certificates
- Able to troubleshoot basic hosting and site issues using cPanel
Shopify
- Practical experience managing or supporting Shopify store projects
- Understanding of themes, apps, store settings, and project workflows
WordPress
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress websites
- Experience with themes, plugins, updates, backups, and site structure
Project & Client Handling:
- Proven experience leading client calls independently
- Able to explain technical concepts in simple, clear language
- Confident, presentable, and professional in client-facing situations
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
- Works well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Additional Requirement (Important):
- Must stay updated with latest technologies, tools, and industry trends, including AI-powered tools and platforms
- Ability to leverage AI tools (such as automation, content assistance, or productivity tools) to improve project efficiency and delivery
- Proactive in learning and adopting new technologies that can add value to client projects and internal processes
Desired Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience working with digital agencies or web-based projects
- Familiarity with website migrations and go-live processes
- Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar
- Basic understanding of SEO, website performance, or security best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
