Role Description
We are seeking a versatile and detail oriented Project Manager to lead the development and launch of our new PMS platform. You will be the "glue" that holds our project together overseeing the website build, ensuring our design vision is executed perfectly, and rigorously testing the software to ensure a flawless experience for our hotel partners and agents.
Core Responsibilities
- End-to-End Oversight: Manage the full development lifecycle of our website and PMS portal, from initial wireframes to the final live product.
- Design Implementation: Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure the interface is intuitive for both busy hotel front-desk staff and high-volume travel agents.
- Operational Execution: Coordinate with developers to ensure the software's backend (inventory logic, booking engines, API integrations) is running efficiently.
- Rigorous Testing (QA): Act as the primary tester. You will find the bugs before our clients do, performing stress tests on the booking flow and data synchronization.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate business requirements into technical tasks for the dev team and provide regular progress reports to leadership.
The Ideal Candidate
- The "User First" Mindset: You understand the hospitality industry and know that a glitchy booking system is not an option.
- Technical Literacy: While you don’t need to code, you should understand how web architecture, APIs, and cloud-based software function.
- Eye for Detail: You notice when a button is off center or when a workflow takes three clicks too many.
- Experience: Previous experience in PropTech, SaaS, or Hospitality technology is a significant advantage.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Management and Program Management skills, with the ability to oversee project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Excellent Team Leadership and Communication skills to foster collaboration and promote organizational goals.
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills for understanding complex technical and business challenges and developing effective solutions.
- Solid understanding of the Web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency space is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
