About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Technical Project Manager – Product Development to lead the end-to-end delivery of software products and IT projects.
The ideal candidate should combine strong capabilities in Project Management, Business Analysis, Agile Delivery, Product Development, and Technical/Architecture Understanding.
The role will work closely with business stakeholders, UI/UX, architecture, development, QA, DevOps, and management — taking ownership from requirement analysis and planning through development, testing, deployment, and successful product launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end software product/project delivery from requirement gathering through development, QA, UAT, deployment, go-live, and post-release activities.
- Define and manage project scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, and delivery plans.
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into clear BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify requirement gaps, business rules, dependencies, edge cases, and implementation risks before development begins.
- Work with business stakeholders and Product Owners to prioritise requirements, features, enhancements, and product backlogs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including UI/UX, Frontend, Backend, Architecture, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations.
- Participate effectively in technical and solution-architecture discussions with architects and engineering teams.
- Maintain a good working understanding of application architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, cloud, security, scalability, infrastructure, and deployment concepts.
- Ensure technical solutions and UI/UX workflows align with approved business and product requirements.
- Apply Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models and facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Track sprint commitments, project progress, team capacity, dependencies, risks, blockers, quality, and overall delivery performance.
- Drive team accountability, remove delivery blockers, manage conflicts, and escalate critical issues when required.
- Manage scope changes through appropriate impact analysis, prioritisation, approval, and change-control processes.
- Coordinate QA, UAT, defect resolution, release readiness, production deployment, and post-implementation activities.
- Maintain project documentation and provide clear status, milestone, risk, dependency, and delivery updates to management and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous product and delivery improvement based on metrics, stakeholder feedback, user feedback, and lessons learned.
Required Skills & Experience
- Relevant professional experience in Technical Project Management, Business Analysis, Product Development, Software Development, or IT Project Delivery.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end software products/projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong hands-on experience in Business Analysis, requirement gathering, and requirement engineering.
- Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and the complete software product-development lifecycle.
- Practical experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
- Good technical understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, cloud, DevOps, security, testing, and release management.
- Experience working with developers, architects, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, Product Owners, business stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, leadership, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
- Strong ownership and accountability with the ability to drive multiple priorities through successful delivery.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst, Technical Project Lead, Technical Project Manager, Senior Developer / Technical Lead moving into Project Management, or a Product-oriented Project Manager will be particularly relevant.
Experience in SaaS, ERP, HRMS, CRM, Healthcare, Finance, workflow-based applications, or other enterprise software products will be an advantage.
