We are seeking a Delivery Lead / Technical Project Manager to manage the day-to-day execution and governance of an enterprise-scale IT transformation program. This is a hands-on delivery management role involving planning, tracking, cross-functional team coordination, and reporting across multiple workstreams. You will be responsible for establishing the execution rhythm and ensuring stakeholder alignment, milestone clarity, and predictable delivery outcomes across SDLC phases (build, QA/UAT, and release readiness).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery management for a multi-track transformation initiative.
- Build and maintain a detailed program plan with milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and role-based allocations (technical + functional).
- Drive delivery cadence: daily standups with internal teams and weekly alignment reviews with client-side stakeholders; ensure sprint/iteration governance.
- Ensure disciplined execution tracking through tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent dashboards.
- Maintain governance artefacts including RAID logs, milestone trackers, action items, and dependency registers.
- Coordinate across Developers, QA, UX, and DevOps teams to facilitate requirements clarification, documentation reviews, KT sessions, and sign-offs.
- Partner with engineering leads on release readiness (QA/UAT coordination, deployment planning, and production rollouts) to ensure stable delivery with minimal disruption.
- Prepare and present weekly status reports, risks/blockers, and escalation paths to both client and internal leadership.
- Facilitate program governance rituals including phase gates, retrospectives, and checkpoint reviews.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and cross-stream blockers; drive resolution with urgency and clarity.
- Own and institutionalize delivery governance playbooks and standard reporting templates for scalable operations.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- 10–12+ years in IT program/project/delivery management roles within consulting, product, or transformation environments.
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional delivery teams across SDLC workstreams (Web/Mobile/UI/UX, QA/UAT, and DevOps/release coordination).
- Strong stakeholder management and client interfacing skills, including working with senior leadership and facilitating workshops/demos.
- Experience driving Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models; ability to tailor governance to context.
- Expertise in project tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana).
- Excellent written and verbal communication — ability to synthesize status, risks, and value into leadership narratives.
- Proven ability to manage scope, time, cost, and quality while navigating evolving priorities.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and enforcing accountability on shared deliverables.
Good to Have:
- PMP, Prince2, or CSM/SAFe certifications (or in progress).
- Background in enterprise IT transformation, consulting, or modernization programs.
- Familiarity with DevOps, QA/UAT, Infra, CI/CD, or release management practices.
- Experience working with or scaling operations in Tier 2/3 city environments in India.
- Exposure to platform-driven industries such as mobility, logistics, or transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT , or Project Management.
