The Role
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with approximately 2 years of experience to join our product team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between technical execution and business strategy. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize backlogs, and deliver high-impact features that solve complex technical challenges for our users.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Help define and execute the roadmap for specific technical product areas, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
- Technical Discovery: Partner with engineering leads to evaluate feasibility, define system architecture requirements, and document API specifications.
- Requirement Definition: Translate user needs into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are "developer-ready."
- Backlog Management: Own the prioritization of the product backlog, balancing new feature development with technical debt and infrastructure improvements.
- Execution & Delivery: Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, grooming, and demos, to ensure high-velocity and high-quality delivery.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and report on key product metrics, using data to drive iterations and prove the success of shipped features.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate technical trade-offs and project status to non-technical stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in product management, specifically within a technical domain (SaaS, Infrastructure, API-based products, or Cloud services).
- Technical Proficiency: A strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), APIs, and system architecture. Experience with SQL and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Agile Expertise: Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools like Jira or Linear.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, actionable language for diverse audiences.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
- Familiarity with [specific tech stack, e.g., AWS, Python, React].
- Previous background in software engineering or systems analysis.
