Role: Technical Operations Manager – Cloud (AWS / GCP / Multi-Cloud)
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 Months+ (with a possibility of extension)
Work Hours: IST
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 2x Days onsite - Bangalore, India
We are seeking a Technical Operations Manager – Cloud to lead and stabilize large-scale engineering and operations teams across multi-cloud environments. This role focuses on operational excellence, system stability, cloud optimization, and post-transition support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day technical operations to ensure uptime, stability, and efficiency
- Manage internal teams, NTT resources, and consultants with clear accountability
- Partner with engineering leaders to drive remediation using Jira and Agile practices
- Standardize operational processes, runbooks, and best practices
- Lead cloud optimization initiatives across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Support FinOps and cloud cost optimization efforts
- Drive post-transition cleanup, integration, and stabilization activities
Requirements
- Proven experience managing large-scale technical operations or engineering teams
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or GCP; multi-cloud exposure preferred
- Experience working with vendors and managed service providers
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Jira
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
