Job Description: Technical Operations Lead.
We are seeking a high-ownership professional to lead end-to-end Technical operations, self-managing their workload, building processes from scratch, and maintaining excellence under pressure and communicating professionally with customers and leadership., As we grow, you’ll have to lead and mentor new operations team members, making strong leadership potential essential.
Requirements:
o 5 to 7 years in technical operations, systems administration, DevOps, or infrastructure support—with at least some time as the primary or sole ops person.
o Strong written and spoken English—to communicate directly with customers, vendors. Written skills must be clear, professional, and error-free.
o Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server administration in production Environments.
o Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, firewalls, VPNs, IPSEC tunnels, SOCKS5 proxies, routing, and residential proxy configuration.
o Experience with monitoring and observability tools, ideally Grafana (dashboards, alerting, anomaly detection)
o Experience with ticketing systems. (Freshdesk, Zendesk, Jira Service Desk, or similar) including SLA configuration, workflow automations, and escalation rules.
o Comfort with virtual machine provisioning and management. (Proxmox, KVM/QEMU, VMware, Hyper-V or cloud equivalents)
o Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers.
o Demonstrated track record of writing clear documentation, SOPs, and operational checklists—proactively.
o Self-managing: you can prioritize your own workload, triage competing demands, and maintain quality without constant oversight.
o Comfort with scripting (Bash, Python) for operational automation, API integrations, and Tooling.
Responsibilities:
o Experience building or leading a small ops/infrastructure team.
o Background in security-conscious or government/law-enforcement-adjacent environments.
o Familiarity with Proxmox, Docker, and container orchestration.
o Experience with Apache Guacamole or similar remote access gateways.
o Familiarity with Cloudflare, VOIP/SMS platforms, or mobile carrier infrastructure.
o Experience with cost optimization, infrastructure right-sizing, or FinOps practices.
o Familiarity with CRM/billing systems (HubSpot) and reconciling deployed infrastructure
against customer billing.
o Experience with workflow automation tools. (Make.com, Zapier, n8n, or similar)
