Job Title: Technical Manager - Python & Ansible Engineer

Role Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Manager with deep expertise in Python and Ansible to lead a high-performing engineering/automation team. You will own solution architecture, set engineering best practices, drive automation at scale (infrastructure and application), and deliver secure, reliable, and scalable systems. The ideal candidate combines technical leadership with a strong delivery mindset and excellent stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of total experience with 3–4 years in technical leadership/management.
- Async I/O, typing, packaging, virtualenv/poetry, pytest / pytest-xdist, linting/formatting (flake8/black), performance profiling.
- Frameworks: FastAPI/Flask/Django (at least one in production).
- Playbooks, roles, inventories, Jinja2 templating, dynamic inventories, Ansible Vault, Collections, AWX/Ansible Tower.
- Idempotency, testing (molecule), and performance tuning (strategies, forks, delegation).
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps/Jenkins; artifact management, semantic versioning.
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (Helm/Kustomize), basic service mesh concepts.
- Cloud (one or more): AWS/Azure/GCP; IAM, networking basics, VPC/VNet, load balancers, storage.
- Observability: Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, tracing, metrics, alerting.
- Strong fundamentals: algorithms, distributed systems basics, REST/gRPC, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership.
