Position: Technical Manager – Design & Project Execution (Fall Protection Systems)

Role Overview
Safety Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Technical Manager responsible for the technical design, engineering, and execution of fall protection solutions, including fixed lifeline systems.
The role involves close collaboration with the sales team to support technical design, conduct site surveys, finalize system selection, and oversee installation while ensuring compliance with safety standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design & Engineering
● Design and engineer fall protection systems, including fixed lifeline systems, in compliance with applicable safety standards.
● Prepare technical drawings, layouts, calculations, and design documentation.
● Identify and finalize appropriate lifeline systems based on site conditions, risk assessment, and client requirements.
Sales & Pre-Sales Support
● Provide technical support to the sales team during pre-sales discussions and proposal development.
● Assist in preparing technical submissions, BOQs, specifications, and method statements.
● Participate in client meetings and technical presentations as required.
Site Survey & System Finalization
● Conduct detailed site surveys at client locations to assess site conditions and hazards.
● Evaluate structural feasibility for installation of fall protection systems.
● Recommend suitable fall protection solutions tailored to client needs.
Project Execution & Installation
● Plan and oversee the execution and installation of fall protection systems.
● Coordinate with installation teams, contractors, and vendors.
● Ensure installations are completed as per approved designs, quality standards, and project timelines.
● Carry out inspections, testing, and commissioning of installed systems.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
● Ensure all activities comply with relevant national and international safety standards.
● Maintain complete project documentation, including as-built drawings and inspection reports.
● Address and resolve technical issues during execution and post-installation.
Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Structural or related discipline).
● MBA preferred (Project Management, Operations, or Marketing will be an advantage).
● Experience in fall protection systems, fixed lifeline systems, or safety engineering projects.
● Ability to read, interpret, and prepare engineering drawings.
Skills & Competencies
● Strong technical and analytical skills.
● Good communication and client-handling abilities.
● Ability to support sales and work cross-functionally.
● Practical experience in site execution and troubleshooting.
● Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
