Responsibilities
- A data manager who combines strong technical depth, a solutioning mindset, stakeholder communication, and team leadership.
- This role is ideal for someone who can operate like a pre-sales consultant with delivery ownership.
Delivery Management
- Own end-to-end execution of data programmes from initiation to go-live.
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, budgets, dependencies, and quality.
- Ensure best practices in Agile / Scrum / Waterfall delivery models.
- Drive governance with weekly status reports, steering meetings, and escalations.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, including data engineers, BI developers, analysts, and architects.
- Build a strong delivery culture focused on ownership, quality, and continuous learning.
- Conduct performance reviews, career growth planning, and hiring.
- Improve utilisation and resource planning across projects.
Technical Leadership
- Guide teams on architecture, coding standards, reusability, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and performance optimisation.
- Review designs for data warehousing, lakehouse, ETL/ELT pipelines, BI models, and reporting systems.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-optimised cloud solutions.
Communication And Stakeholder Management
- Interface with senior business stakeholders, delivery heads, and technical teams.
- Present status, risks, roadmap, and value realisation clearly.
- Handle challenging conversations with confidence and professionalism.
Requirements
- Education: Graduates only (please ignore pursuing/dropouts/12th or 10th pass).
- Preferred background experience in IT services/consulting/GCC/managed services.
- Managed large enterprise customers.
- Experience in proposal creation and effort estimation.
- Exposure to multiple domains (retail, BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, CPG, etc. ).
- Certifications in Cloud / Databricks / AI / ML.
