Role Description The Technical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for overseeing technical operations and services within assigned real estate assets or projects. Day-to-day tasks include managing building systems and infrastructure, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role involves leading technical support teams, monitoring performance of vendors and service providers, and driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency. The Technical Manager will collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to plan and execute technical initiatives, support R&D or innovation efforts, and contribute to budgets, reporting, and risk management. This position requires close coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth facility operations and excellent client service.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret technical data, monitor performance metrics, and support decision-making.
- Proven team management abilities, including leading technical staff, coordinating vendors, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Hands-on experience in technical support for building systems, facilities, or engineering services, with a focus on reliability and safety.
- Exposure to research and development (R&D) or continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, technology use, and service delivery.
- Demonstrated project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor technical projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Facilities Engineering) and professional certifications related to building operations or project management are beneficial.
- Knowledge of real estate or facilities management operations, including preventive maintenance, vendor management, and compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work with diverse stakeholders, and readiness to operate in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
