Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Technical Manager to lead initiatives in market development, healthcare accreditation promotion, phlebotomy training support, and biological sample handling solutions. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, business development, and stakeholder engagement within healthcare and diagnostic sectors.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Mapping & Business Development
- Conduct comprehensive market mapping of healthcare institutions, diagnostic laboratories, and research centers.
- Identify opportunities for medical laboratory accreditation services (NABL, NABH, QAI, etc.).
- Develop and execute strategies for market penetration and client acquisition.
- Build strong relationships with hospitals, labs, and academic institutions.
2. Promotion of Healthcare Accreditation Services
- Promote AEYID-HC’s accreditation consultancy services (AMLQP).
- Educate clients on quality standards, compliance requirements, and the benefits of accreditation.
- Support onboarding and coordination with accreditation projects.
3. Technical Support – Phlebotomy Training
- Provide technical expertise and training support for phlebotomy programs.
- Ensure adherence to standard protocols, patient safety, and infection control practices.
- Assist in curriculum development and hands-on training sessions.
4. Technical Promotion – Biological Sample Handling Solutions
- Promote solutions related to sample collection, handling, transportation, and storage.
- Provide technical guidance on pre-analytical quality and biosafety.
- Support the implementation of best practices aligned with global laboratory standards.
5. Project & Team Management
- Lead and manage technical projects, ensuring timely execution and quality delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and marketing.
- Mentor junior team members and build a high-performance technical team.
Qualifications & Skill sets
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Medical Laboratory Technology / Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or research environments
- Knowledge of accreditation standards (NABL, NABH, etc.) is highly desirable
- Expertise in phlebotomy practices and laboratory workflows
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability in project management and team leadership
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in phlebotomy and related areas
- Exposure to clinical laboratory operations and quality systems
- Experience in training and technical sales/solution promotion
