Overview
We are looking for a technically strong professional in apparel product development with hands-on experience in fit engineering, garment construction, and sample development across woven and denim categories.
The role focuses on supporting end-to-end product development, fit approvals, and sample execution, ensuring alignment with international buyer standards such as Walmart, Levi’s, PVH, GAP, and similar brands.
The ideal candidate will have practical exposure to the full development cycle, from proto stage to bulk readiness, with strong attention to fit accuracy and construction quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end product development and sample room operations
- Conduct fit analysis and assist in achieving correct garment fit, balance, and silhouette
- Manage sample development stages (Proto → Fit → PP → Production) with accuracy
- Analyse fit comments and implement necessary corrections
- Ensure pattern accuracy, grading consistency, and technical feasibility
- Collaborate with design, production, and QA teams to ensure product quality
- Assist in maintaining construction standards aligned with buyer requirements
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including tech packs and fit comments
- Support bulk production readiness by ensuring approved technical standards
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in apparel technical or product development
- Currently at Assistant Manager / Technical Manager level (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of fit analysis, garment construction, and pattern making
- Experience in handling sample development lifecycle
- Exposure to international buyers such as Walmart, Levi’s, PVH, GAP, Target, etc. (MUST)
- Experience in woven and denim products (preferred)
- Exposure to ladieswear or multi-category product development
- Good understanding of garment engineering and fit correction techniques
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to be based in Bangladesh
