⚫ 8–12 years of progressive software engineering experience with at least 4–6 years in a
technical lead or manager capacity.
⚫ Hands-on experience building and deploying voice/conversational AI systems, speechto-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and dialogue management platforms in production.
⚫ Strong understanding of LLM-powered conversational agents, prompt engineering,
function calling, and agentic workflows (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel).
⚫ Familiarity with U.S. healthcare workflows — patient scheduling, insurance verification,
prior authorization, prescription refills, appointment reminders, and revenue cycle
processes.
⚫ Experience with telephony and voice infrastructure — SIP, VoIP, WebRTC, Twilio,
Amazon Connect, or Genesys; real-time audio streaming and low-latency voice
pipelines.
⚫ Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow); working

LLMs and NLU frameworks for multi-turn healthcare dialogues; design intent
recognition, entity extraction, slot filling, and context management for clinical
conversations.

processing pipelines — ASR (Whisper, Deepgram, Google Speech), TTS (ElevenLabs,
Amazon Polly, Azure Speech), noise cancellation, speaker diarization, and real-time
audio streaming using WebSockets.
⚫ Ensure Compliance & Quality: Implement rigorous testing frameworks for voice agent
accuracy, conversation completion rates, and patient satisfaction; ensure HIPAA
compliance for voice data handling, PHI redaction, call recording, and consent
management.
⚫ Telephony & Integration: Design and manage integrations with telephony platforms
(Twilio, Amazon Connect, SIP trunks), EHR/EMR systems (HL7, FHIR), practice
management software, and CRM tools to enable seamless end-to-end voice workflows.
⚫ Drive CI/CD & Architecture: Design cloud-native, event-driven microservices
architecture for voice workloads; build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions,
Jenkins), containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.
⚫ Lead & Mentor Teams: Manage and grow multiple engineering pods; set goals,
conduct code reviews, run sprint ceremonies, identify skill gaps, and proactively
communicate status and blockers to leadership.
⚫ Stay Current: Continuously evaluate emerging voice AI technologies, real-time speech
models, conversational AI frameworks, and healthcare regulatory updates to keep the
platform at the cutting edge.
