13. This is a FULLTIME CONTRACT role for until Dec’26, meaning - Mon to Fri, 8 working hrs/day, UK time zone (NO WEEKEND/HOLIDAY PAY). Please acknowledge that you are OK with this.
14. No moonlighting. We will not entertain candidates to work for other companies/projects while working on this project. Please confirm if have understood this and can abide by this?
15. As this is a contract role, we DO NOT pay a monthly salary, instead we honour monthly invoice payouts - excluding holidays and weekends. With this in mind, can you please share your CONTRACT RATE/DAY in INR.
16. As this is a contract role, there are NO leaves assigned. Candidate is expected to work Mon-Fri, 8 hrs/day, unless they have informed the team of their absence. Please confirm that you're OK with this.
17. There will be 3-4 rounds of interviews. Each round will be a combination of technical + behavioural + situational. Please acknowledge that you are OK with this.
18. Potential candidates’ will be requested to share their latest 3 payslips/invoices. Please acknowledge that you are ok with this.
19. There will be a background verification check conducted on the selected candidates where you'll be asked to enter your UAN number. This is a mandatory step. Please confirm that you are ok with this.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a strong background in Python, AWS, and microservices architecture to lead solution design and development for critical applications. This role requires a seasoned technologist with the ability to combine hands-on development expertise and leadership skills to guide the team in delivering scalable, reliable, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Solution Design
- Lead end-to-end solution design and development for business use cases leveraging Python, AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL, and microservices.
- Drive architectural discussions, contribute to technical roadmaps, and ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and design principles.
Development & Delivery
- Develop and maintain applications using Python (advanced OOP concepts and design patterns).
- Implement data access layers with ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy preferred).
- Design, build, and integrate GraphQL APIs into enterprise-grade applications.
- Ensure high-quality, timely delivery in an Agile/SCRUM environment, leveraging Git-based workflows and branching strategies.
Ownership & Accountability
- Take initiative in quickly learning new concepts, independently driving tasks and projects, and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong accountability by proactively addressing challenges and delivering on commitments.
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Mentor and upskill junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.
Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)
- 9+ years of experience in application development, with proven expertise in Python, AWS Lambda, microservices, and PostgreSQL.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming, OOP principles, and design patterns.
- Strong hands-on experience with ORM tools (SQLAlchemy a must).
- Experience designing and integrating GraphQL APIs.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams with Git-based workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring developers and driving technical decisions.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning in distributed systems.
