Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Lead Java position based in Bengaluru. The Technical Lead will design and implement complex Java-based applications, guide the architecture and technical roadmap, and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading a development team, assigning tasks, mentoring team members, and collaborating with product managers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions. The role involves troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, integrating databases and services, and ensuring adherence to secure coding and network security standards. The Technical Lead will also contribute to technical documentation, participate in sprint planning, and drive continuous improvement in development processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong Software Development and Programming skills, particularly in Java, with experience in designing and building enterprise-grade applications.
- Hands-on experience with Databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and integration of relational or NoSQL data stores.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and Network Security practices, including secure coding, vulnerability mitigation, and protection of application and data layers.
- Proven experience leading technical teams, providing mentorship, and driving architectural and design decisions.
- Familiarity with modern development workflows (e.g., CI/CD, version control, automated testing) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience in cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices or distributed systems architectures is beneficial.
