We’re Hiring: Tech Lead – GCP & Golang | Fintech | PayRup
At PayRup, we are building a unified digital payments and financial services platform serving both B2C (consumer) and B2B (business) ecosystems. From enabling seamless everyday transactions for users to powering enterprises with payout APIs, collections, and financial automation, PayRup is scaling rapidly across India.
We’re looking for a Tech Lead who can own architecture, lead engineering teams, and build highly scalable, secure fintech systems.
Role: Tech Lead (GCP & Golang)
Location: India
Experience: 6–10 years (with team leadership experience)
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end architecture and development of scalable fintech platforms
- Build and optimize cloud-native systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Drive backend engineering using Golang with a focus on performance and reliability
- Design and manage high-volume payment systems (B2C & B2B flows)
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team
- Ensure compliance, security, and uptime for financial-grade systems
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders
About PayRup Platform
- B2C: Enable end users with seamless digital payment experiences including bill payments, recharges, and everyday financial transactions
- B2B: Provide businesses with robust APIs for payouts, collections, reconciliation, and financial automation, helping them scale operations efficiently
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience with GCP (Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, etc.)
- Solid hands-on expertise in Golang
- Proven experience in fintech / payments domain (mandatory)
- Experience building high-availability, low-latency distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, and database design
- Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects
Good to Have (Optional)
- Exposure to AI-driven workflow automation (e.g., intelligent process automation, decision engines, fraud detection workflows)
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into fintech systems
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and data pipelines
