Job Title: Offshore Technical Lead

About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Offshore Technical Lead to drive delivery for ETL and Reporting platforms. The role involves leading offshore teams working on Databricks-based data pipelines, Power BI reporting, and React-based UI integrations.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Lead offshore teams delivering ETL pipelines and reporting solutions
- Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and aggregation pipelines using Databricks
- Build analytical datasets and semantic models for Power BI reporting
- Coordinate backend data integration with React-based UI components
- Review code, designs, and deployment artifacts to ensure adherence to best practices
Team Mentoring & Delivery Management
- Mentor offshore data engineers, developers, and reporting analysts
- Track sprint progress and ensure on-time delivery
- Identify risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints early
- Drive technical excellence and engineering standards
Production Monitoring & Support
- Monitor production jobs, batch pipelines, and reporting refreshes
- Perform incident triage and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Coordinate with onsite teams for quick resolution within SLA
- Implement preventive fixes and performance improvements
Stakeholder Management
- Act as offshore SPOC for onsite technical teams
- Provide regular delivery updates, milestone reports, and issue tracking
- Support UAT, production releases, and post-deployment validation
Mandatory Technical Skills :
✔ Strong SQL expertise (complex joins, analytics queries, performance tuning)
✔ Databricks experience including Spark / PySpark
✔ Hands-on with DataFrames, Delta Lake, performance optimization
✔ Experience in ETL pipelines, job orchestration, and scheduling
✔ Python for data engineering and automation
✔ Power BI – dataset modeling, DAX fundamentals, report performance tuning
✔ Working knowledge of React and component-based UI integration
Preferred Skills :
✔ Experience with Azure Cloud platform
✔ Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data and reporting workflows
✔ Familiarity with DevOps tools, monitoring, and alerting systems
✔ Experience supporting regulatory, risk, or enterprise reporting platforms
✔ Prior experience working in an onsite–offshore delivery model
