Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Lead who will act as the primary technical owner and Point of Contact (POC) for our product.
This role demands a strong leader + hands-on engineer who can:
- Architect scalable systems
- Lead a team from the front
- Translate business vision into technical execution
- Ensure high-performance, secure, and optimized systems
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Ownership- Lead and manage a team of 15–20+ engineers
- Act as the technical POC for founders and stakeholders
- Take end-to-end ownership of product architecture and delivery
- Define and enforce technical standards, SOPs, and best practices
- Drive execution aligned with product roadmap and business goals
Technical Strategy & Architecture- Design and oversee high-level & low-level system architecture
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure systems
- Lead decisions on:
- System design
- Data architecture
- Infrastructure scaling
- Optimize systems for performance (millisecond-level improvements)
Engineering & Execution- Actively contribute to backend/system-level development when required
- Ensure best practices in:
- Code quality
- CI/CD pipelines
- Deployment & rollback strategies
- Oversee:
- Production systems
- Debugging critical issues
- Performance optimization
Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS ecosystem)
- Work with tools/services such as:
- EC2, ECS, EKS, S3
- RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Redis (caching layer)
- Implement:
- Logging (ELK Stack)
- Monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost optimization
Data & System Design- Strong understanding of:
- DBMS concepts (Normalization, Indexing, Integrity, Redundancy)
- Data pipelines & large-scale data systems
- Design efficient schemas and data flows for fintech use cases
Security & Networking- Knowledge of:
- Application & cloud security
- Network fundamentals
- OS-level understanding
- Security layers (end-to-end system protection)
- Ensure secure system design and compliance readiness
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Translate founder/business requirements into technical execution plans
- Collaborate with:
- Product teams
- Design teams
- Operations teams
- Drive alignment between business vision and engineering output
Process & Delivery- Define and implement:
- SDLC processes
- Agile workflows
- Project management systems
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Drive accountability and performance culture

- Prior experience as a Tech Lead managing 15–20+ engineers
